Haitian Media Network
The Haitian Media Network (HMN) operates radio, television and InfoHaiti.net. For 18 years, HMN has contracted with community based organizations to develop television, radio, and web-based educational materials for Creole-speaking Haitians. In 1994, HMN established in collaboration with other Haitian radio broadcasters in Massachusetts Radio Concorde , broadcasting over 100 hours a week. Through daily segments on issues faced by new immigrants, programs keep the audience connected to life in Haiti, while establishing connections to local businesses, social organizations, and state institutions. Camera Mosaique launched to create a weekly TV program reaching over 90 communities, as the sole source of information on Haitian life and health issues on local cable.
