Newcomers are making media in Philadelphia through a series of community journalism workshops by JUNTOS, sponsored by the Knight Foundation and Media Mobilizing Project. The New York Times, Al Dia, and the Philadelphia Inquirer have reported on this initiative to, as project coordinator Gabriel Berrios says "give voice to those members of society who have the least chance of being taken into account".
