Immigrant Rights: Fast for our Future
Body:
On October 15th, over 100 people began one of the largest hunger strikes in American history to call on Latinos, immigrants, and people of conscience. The Fast for our Future is based in a permanent encampment at La Placita Olvera, in Los Angeles, and will continue until at least 1 million people have signed a pledge to vote or take action to support immigrant rights. Visit the "La Alma de Fuego" blog for a video about the pledge and the Fast for our Future.
