New Routes Conference Underway

I feel delighted to be here in Berkeley with so many talented people gathering to learn from one another. Catherine is setting up her computer in the Empire room where we will gather soon to start our reception and see some media that people have been creating. Here's a few photos to give you a flavor of our first morning here. The pie queen in Oakland is where we had breakfast a little while ago.

Wherever women gather, there is talk of shoes

I tell you, women can talk about footwear. In addition to enjoying a delightful down home breakfast at Lois the Pie Queen in Oakland, we gals from the NPO talked about shoes, TV shows, and our families and friends.
