FBI Honors Mpls Somali Community Leader

Saeed Fahia, executive director of the Confederation of Somali Community in Minnesota, is among more than 50 people nationwide who were honored by FBI Director Robert Mueller during a Friday ceremony in Washington.
Ralph Boelter, the special agent in charge of the FBI office in Minneapolis, attended the ceremony. He says Fahia is a role model who has dedicated his life to bringing dreams of freedom and prosperity to members of the Somali community.
Fahia received the Director's Community Leadership Award from the Minneapolis Division of the FBI in 2009.
