Celebrants at World Refugee Day 2010 in Atlanta

Cheering music from around the world starts off this enjoyable radio program recorded on World Refugee Day 2010. Then you can listen to on-site interviews with those at the celebration talking about health tips, where to get health care, integration issues and more.

People from Bhutan, Nepal, Thailand, Burma, Burundi, Somalia, Ethiopia, Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan and many more places came out to celebrate World Refugee Day at the Clarkston Community Center.

We recognize all the organizations who participated in this event and made it happen: Atlanta Tech, Catholic Charities, Dekalb Tech, Dekalb County Board of Health, Jewish Family & Career Service, International Rescue Committee, Lutheran Social Services of Georgia, Refugee Family Service, Refugee Resettlement Immigration Service of Atlanta, and World Relief Organization.
