Bay Area Project Leaders Network with NPO

Bay Area Project Leaders

San Francisco Bay Area project leaders met today at the Bay Area Video Coalition offices in San Francisco during a 3-day site visit by New Routes NPO staff. We shared a meal, watched digital stories made by young media producers, and strategized about the possibilities for collaboration and cross-pollination between the Domestic Worker Safety and Dignity project and the Abriendo las Cajas project.

It didn't take long for us to notice that the leaders around the table were all women, with a wide range of expertise in media, art and technology, health, community and labor organizing, social marketing, fund-raising, strategic planning, and capacity building. What a powerful group!

The room was buzzing with amazing possibilities that are beginning to take shape in both projects. Thanks, Jen, for hosting the NPO staff at BAVC!

Wish I Were There!

I can tell from the picture you all have great ideas and are into the joy of collaborating. What a boost to see you all and read about your meeting on our blog. Can't wait to hear more from my cohorts and meet up with Jocelyn and Jennifer from BAVC and Zero Divide at the Nten Conference in March.
