Emergency, Community and Health Outreach (ECHO) exists to ensure that people with limited English proficiency (LEP) receive life-saving health and safety information. A coalition of government, non-government, private and public agencies, ECHO partners work together to deliver information to immigrants, refugees and New Americans using multi-media formats including television, toll-free phone line (888.883.8831 in Minnesota), web site (www.echominnesota.org), streaming video and E-alert relay system with key leaders in the community connecting health, safety and ethnic agencies to health and safety resources.
